Jeff Danson aka the notorious Heavvy is a Canadian-Jewish Stand up comedian, producer, writer, actor and food fanatic based in Los Angeles California and New York city. After breaking into the comedy scene in 2009 Heavvy first gained traction for his witty joke writing skills as main contributor to Iron Sheik viral twitter account. At the time of Heavvy’s contributions it was rated the top funniest Twitter account by GQ, FHM and Sports Illustrated. Heavvy continued his momentum writing and starring in self produced food travel shows. Two of which received orders from Viacom MTV leading to him leaving his hometown of Toronto for the US. Heavvy then became friends, toured and worked closely for years with Pete Davidson. Performing on cross country tours, leading up to hosting Pete’s first ever special for Comedy Central “SMD”.
